I am four weeks away from my show and I am the weight and the body fat I was the day I did my last show. It amazes me that I can still be four weeks out and have time to lose more weight and body fat. When I decided that I was going to do a show again, my only goal was to win and that is what is going to happen. My weight is 128 and my body fat is 12.3%. Remember my goal was to be 125 and 10%. I am very close and hope to go past that goal.

Having a good day

Well I made it past the plateau today of 133. I was 131 this morning. That is pretty cool. I did Back and chest and abs today in my basement. My husband is a great workout partner and he worked out with me. I got a home gym for Christmas and since then, I do not have to go to the gym as much anymore. It is very convenient.

I am a personal trainer at a local gym and the facility is awesome. I have some great friends there and I love to be there. My ultimate goal is to train enough people at home so that I do not have to work at the gym anymore. I also love to bake and cook. I have cooked for my clients in the past and had a great time doing it. I love to create these healthy meals and know that someone can enjoy them. I also love to bake. Although baking is not very healthy, I love to make stuff for special occasions. I love to see the look on peoples faces when they are enjoying my creations. All the ingredients in my recipes are good. Nothing with high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oil. So in a way, it is good for you in a bad way.

My ultimate goal is to help families, especially children get educated about the food that they eat. The more that you cook or bake from scratch, the healthier it is for you. I want to be able to educate families and children and see that they can change some of their habits and still enjoy what they are eating.

I think about this all the time. Food is a huge part of Americans lives. Everyone celebrates with food. I would like to be able to help people realize that food is made for fuel and not celebrations, not like what the advertising industry would like us to believe.

Anyway, if anyone would like more information or need some food cooked for them, just email me. personal.fitness.inc@gmail.com

6 weeks from competition

I am now six weeks from the competition in April. It seems like yesterday I just started training for it. My goal for the end of February was 130 and 13.5% body fat. Well I made the body fat on February 15th, but ended up 133. Only lost 2 pounds that month, but my body fat went down almost 2%. The last time I trained for a competition, I was a lot further behind on weight and body fat, so I am very excited about my results this time.

My plan for the next 5 weeks is to perfect on my eating and get more cardio in and get all my exercising in . My plan is to eat around 1400 calories with 20% fat, and the rest split between carbohydrates and protein. I have a smoothie in the morning, then oatmeal and berries, then eggs and sweet potatoes, chicken salad and sweet potatoes, and lastly chicken stir fry with lots of veggies. Drinking a lot of water everyday.

This weekend, was a challenge, we were away for four days. I had to bring my food for the entire weekend and cook meals in my hotel room. It was hard, but I made it. I made sure that I didn't go near any of the bad food that was around us and I got to the gym 2 of the days and went skiing one of the other days. It was a mission accomplished and very excited that I made it through.
